It's the most dazzling time of the year... 'Tis the season for having a great many excuses to dress up; gatherings, festivities, or even just a late afternoon stroll to one of my favorite Christmas trees.  I decided to start December off with one of my favorites by  Trashy Diva ; the Candice Gwinn  Lena Dress .  In my opinion, this is one of their most exquisite collections yet, and I'm sure you can agree. Happy Halloween!  I know it's been a while since my last update, so I wanted to make sure to post just in time for the holiday. While I don't have a costume this year (I know...), you can probably tell by now that my wardrobe tends to be inspired by the change of each season. For today's blog post, I wanted to capture one of my favorite styles; a classic, dark noir look. The vintage dress I'm wearing is one of the most treasured pieces that I own, as it belonged to my lovely Great-Grandma Thelma Louise. Though I appreciate each season (we didn't really have them in Hawai'i), I'd have to say that autumn is one of my favorites. This summer flew by, and I'll be the first to admit that I've been guilty of neglecting this blog.  Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do! I wanted to jump right into a transitional summer-to-autumn look. Then again, this outfit can work any time of year, really.  Today I will be showcasing two of my [obvious] favorite brands - Stop Staring Clothing and Secrets in Lace . Who doesn't love a good wiggle dress?  Every gal needs one in her closet... in every color.  This particular Stop Staring dress is definitely tops in my book, and it's appropriately named the Million Dollar Baby Dress .  I've always been a sucker for clothing that hugs my body and flaunts my curves; this not only does that, but also has great stretch for a very comfortable fit.  I especially love the wrap-twist bust line to really put the, er... Back this week with another beautiful Stop Staring! dress - this is the Gardenia fitted dress, and is the epitome of timeless, summer chic. This dress embodies everything Stop Staring's line promises; a classic style that flatters your figure. Their line starts at a size XS and goes up to a 4x, so there is sure to be something for every body shape and size.  This wiggle dress hugs your curves in all the right ways... I especially love the color combination of this; the colors aren't my typical go-to, however, I really like how it looks against my complexion and the versatility.  Since it's a neutral color, there are many options for accessorizing.  I opted for my default hue: black. I'm delighted to be featuring one of my favorite brands again for this weeks blog, Stop Staring! Clothing . This dress is much different from the fun florals and bright colors I've blogged about in the past, which I'm loving, because it has me feelin' a certain way... let's say, vampy vixen, would you agree?  This dress, suitably named the " Twilight Dress ", is the perfect little black dress.  It also does everything for your figure a wiggle dress should... if you have curves, it'll flaunt them, and even if you don't, it certainly helps create them with the adjustable little cinch belt and sweetheart bust line.
